DEPARTMENT OF BASIC ENGINEERING
In every polytechnic college for all branches of study, the first year curriculum is common. The syllabus provides the necessary bridge between the school education & engineering education which the students per sue from the second year of study for successful completion of engineering diploma through knowledge of basics which is very much essential.
Goal & ObjectiveTo impart complete knowledge about basic scientific principles, applied sciences and mathematics.
To enable the students to study and apply mathematical and scientific techniques in engineering and technology.
To motivate the students to verify the fundamental aspects of maths & science through various activities under the guidance of staff.
To train the students to have basic ideas of engineering graphics. This will help them in their further engineering education.
To take necessary measures to develop the communications skills of the students in English language.
